I Want it CAD Way

Perfect your (3D) modelling skills and strut your stuff.

Utilising TinkerCAD, students will uncover how 3D models are created using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and what this looks like in a variety of industries. They will learn the basics of 3D modelling, including keyboard shortcuts and full utility of a mouse, before designing a wearable ring. They will take accurate measurements of their fingers using a standard jeweller’s tool, then design their desired shape and artistic features. These will be printed immediately after the session and ready to be sent home with students at the end of the day.
